From Oklahoma to Michigan

Yes, there really is a place called Kalamazoo.

I arrived here August 31st and moved into my parents basement where I'll be living for about a year before hopefully heading off to more school.

It really is a very nice little city, but I'm dreading winter.

My first Sunday here in Kalamazoo I headed over to the park in the middle of downtown and took some pictures with my phone before heading over to Church just down the road from downtown. (It's really not much of a downtown)

Though I'll only be here for a year I thought I really should document it. I haven't blogged seriously about any subject other than weight loss in quite some time so I thought the new location and fresh start would be a good chance to start blogging about where I live and life in general. Stay tuned for news on my life, the tiny community of saints at the Kalamazoo University Branch, and what goes on in Kalamazoo.
